Salil is a forward-thinking leader with over two decades of experience in the field of information security and IT. Throughout his career, he has designed and executed comprehensive IT security frameworks for a variety of organisations.

His credentials include certifications such as CISSP, ASCL Certified Ethical Hacker, a Certified Cyber Crime Investigator, and an ISMS (Information Security Management Systems) Auditor. He is also a Certified Data Privacy Practitioner. (Includes compliances under DPDPA, GDPR, HIPPA, PIPEDA, CCPA etc.)

Salil has also assisted as an expert to the officers of Cyber Crime Cell of Pune Police, where he played a pivotal role in investigating numerous cybercrime cases and was also chosen as a member of Cyber Committee (A public / private partnership steered by the commissioner of police, Pune city). Additionally, he has contributed significantly to bolstering cybersecurity awareness by providing training to Indian Army Intelligence Officers in Cyber Security and Cyber Forensics.

Previously, Salil held the position of Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at "Poonawalla Fincorp Limited," an NBFC owned by Mr. Adar Poonawalla. Under his leadership, his team was honoured with the Cyber Security Team of the Year award by Quantic India. He has also held a key position as Director - Information Security at Worldline E-Payments Pvt. Ltd.

Salil is now dedicates most of his time to expand his expertise by delving into research projects focusing on the application of AI in Cyber Security.

Beyond his professional achievements, Salil actively engages in raising awareness about Cyber Crime within the academic community. He has been invited to deliver lectures and knowledge sharing sessions on cyber awareness and security at various prestigious colleges.
